BANDWAGON Chosen For Google For Entrepreneurs Exchange Program

BANDWAGON has been chosen as one of 12 startups picked from around the world for the Google for Entrepreneurs (GFE) Exchange Program for Black Founders. The GFE Exchange aims to help build and fund the best Black-led startups. This is the first GFE to focus on black-led startups.

Located in the #4 "Global City for Venture Capital Investment", and hosted by American Underground, the program will bring Founders from across the country to convene for a week of learing, mentoring, networking and a pitch event in Durham, NC.

The ultimate goal of the program is to get half of the participating startups funded within nine months of the program. "The goal of this Exchange is to connect Black Founders with investors, technologists and other entrepreneurs to help solve the funding pipeline problem so I'm excited to engage with the community in Durham next month," says Harold Hughes, BANDWAGON Founder/CEO. "From the very beginning, we set out to build a platform that leverages data to bring fans together. Having the opportunity to work within the Google for Entrepreneurship program is a blessing because of the information and data focus in their mission," says Hughes.

The GFE Exchange Program will take place on October 9 through 14th, 2016.
